
Individual Psychotherapy
This context provides a dynamic and holistic experience, particularly beneficial to those impacted by trauma. Here we will have access to a wider variety of creative opportunities, including art supplies and various multi-sensory activities.
There is increased scope to examine somatic and energetic information, plus provide more in-depth support and therapeutic treatment, such as EMDR and advanced mindfulness techniques. Although the latter are possible online, I generally prefer to explore them in-person.

You may not have people in your life who listen when you share how you’re feeling. You may not have the skills to cope with the challenges you’re facing in your day to day life.
Psychotherapy can provide you with a safe space where you can share without judgment, where you can learn new skills to manage these challenges, and where you can explore who you are in this moment and who you want to be. You’ll learn to be kind to yourself, how to sit with feelings that are uncomfortable so that you can grow and evolve.
How Individual Therapy Works
The first step is to schedule a free consultation where we can determine if we’re a good fit. We’ll talk about what prompted you to seek therapy and what you hope to achieve within the process. We will also briefly discuss the Therapy Contract. which I will have already sent to you to read prior to our call,
Then should you wish to proceed, we will arrange an appointment for our first therapy session together. I will also send you directions to my Studio, public transport links and arrangements for parking.
During our first session, we’ll explore in more detail your journey to therapy. I will do a lot of listening to give you space to share your story.
In our second session, together we’ll create a plan of what you want to achieve during our time together. We’ll discuss some of the roadblocks you may face and strategies to overcome them.
In our subsequent sessions, we will continue to work on the goals you created at the beginning of therapy. If new problems arise, we will hold space for those problems, too. We will check in on your goals and make adjustments as necessary.

Directly next door to my ground floor studio is a large downstairs cloakroom. There are no steps or stairs to navigate, so suitable for those in a wheelchair.

Due to my clinics being busy, it is important that you arrive to your appointment on time. Lateness will mean that your allocated hour will be reduced. Subsequently, please allow yourself plenty of time to travel.
