I see you

You are ashamed of your struggles and your need for healing.

In spite of all you have sought to do and achieve, you still feel empty and alone.

You worry that you are too faulty or broken, that too many pieces are missing. Perhaps you deem yourself to be undeserving of a happy, purpose-full life, and that you will never feel whole and heal.

You don’t have to walk through this alone.

We all long for a ‘witness’ in our lives. Yet, we also desire a WITH-ness also: someone safe to journey alongside. I believe therapy provides us with this: a compassionate, confidential space, where we can feel held and nurtured, as we navigate the courageous work of knowing the stories of our hearts.

Although I have done this work with many individuals before, it has never been with YOU! I will hold space for your unique story, be alongside as you explore where you feel stuck and rediscover your voice. Throughout it all, I am committed to meeting and accepting where you are in each moment, and in ways that you find to be the most helpful.

My Journey

My heart has always been drawn to care and to know the most vulnerable among us. I have had the privilege of supporting adults and young people navigating a diverse range of mental health and relationship challenges within both community and education settings. I currently work within the NHS, in addition to Private Practice. Over this time, I have witnessed individuals discovering how worthy they are of love and belonging, finding their own unique ‘voice’ and beginning to live new stories. I consider it an immense honour to travel alongside others on their own healing journeys and look forward to doing the same with you.

I have training and experience in a wide variety of effective, evidence-based approaches that prioritise both individual preferences and the potency of the client/therapist relationship. My qualifications and credentials include:

  • MSc Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP accredited), researching the impact of aligning therapy to clients’ unique experiences, strengths and preferences

  • Postgraduate Certificate and Diploma in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy, underpinned by Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), plus Person-centred and Attachment Theories and Interventions. In addition, I integrate elements of CFT, ACT, IFS, DBT, EMDR and Mindfulness..

  • BSc(Hons) Psychology (BPS accredited)

  • Qualified Teacher Status

  • BACP Registered Member: 398634

I believe the client/therapist relationship is the most important component of therapy. Hence I offer a free 20-minute phone conversation to help us determine if we are the best ‘fit’ for each other.

Besides being a therapist, I am also a wife, mother and grandmother and professional artist. I adore exploring the wonders of the UK countryside, reading and a wide variety of creative pursuits.
